The ironically-named quartet of virtuosic adolescent minstrels known as The Manly Hero is an oddly, but effortlessly unserious band of impressive dudes. Hailing from the sprawling suburbs of Atlanta, these fellas are crafting a visceral, yet refined, mélange of groovy, edgy, stank-facey, rhythm and soul-funkful sound that says, “we’re gonna side-step the mainstream, so we can jump out in front of it.”
